Donating Supplies

Thank you for your support! We count on your support for donations of towels, blankets, food, treats, toys, and many other quality goodies. These items keep the animals in our care happy, comfortable, enriched and sane while they wait for their forever homes.

Need to skip the hassle of going to the store? Well, don't fret! We have Amazon Wish Lists. We do our best to keep these lists up to date with the items we need most.

You may also choose to go shopping “offline” or collect supplies from around your house, of course! Here’s what we need the most:

General Supplies

  • Towels (new or used)

  • Blankets (fleece works well, no down comforters please!)

  • 8.5 x 11 copier paper or gift cards to Office Depot (we even use the boxes!)

  • Rubbing alcohol (must be 90% alcohol or greater)

  • Odoban cleaner or a giftcard to Sam's Club for dog supplies

  • Paper towels or Rags

  • Quart-sized plastic bags for treats

  • Disinfectant wipes

  • Gloves

  • Clothes detergent for puppy / dog laundry! 

  • Washable puppy pads, throwaway puppy pads

Dogs

  • Front clip harnesses without martingale (xs,s,m,l) (If you really want to spoil us Ruffwear if you want to mostly spoil us Barkbay works, too!)

  • 4 and 6-foot leashes (no retractable leashes, please)

  • Wet and dry food (large breed, small breed, puppy, large breed puppy, senior) (we take opened dry food!)

  • Peanut butter (xylitol-free)

  • Dog peanut butter

  • Low-fat greek yogurt or a store gift card for groceries

  • 100% canned pumpkin or pumpkin baby food (just the plain stuff, not the pie mix)

  • Treats (meaty treats, milk bones, etc.)

  • Poop Bags

  • Medium, Intermediate and Large crates

  • Bravecto collars 

  • KONGS! of all sizes! 

 We DO NOT need or accept the following items at this time:

  • Clothing (human or animal)

  • Pillows

  • Down comforters

  • Newspaper

  • Stuffed or memory foam dog beds or pillows

  • Retractable leashes

  • Any harnesses with martingale pulling systems

  • We DO NOT use prong or shock collars. We recommend donating them to the trash.

In person: drop your donation off by contacting us to set up a time or at one of our many events! 

 

How to Obtain a Tax Receipt

Don’t forget to email or make a note that you would like a tax-receipt for your donation! We will also have a form to fill out online in the near future! We do our very best to write everyone a tax-receipt but we are only human and humans run the animal rescue.. so mistakes are made.
